The Mont-Blanc, this is king of the Alpine mountain ranges, the summit of Europe. It peaks at 4810m above sea level, and it is the symbol of mountaineering and even mountain.
Its first ascent was made by BALMAT and PACCARD the 8th Août 1786. And you, when will you do it?
Two routes are "easily" accessible during the summer. The "Royale route" which goes from Saint Gervais, through the Goûter hut, and the "3 Monts route" leaving Chamonix with the cable car of the Aiguille du Midi and with a stop at the Cosmiques hut.
We can discuss and then decide what would be the best choice for you. You will need a good physical fitness and a real motivation to reach the top. Despite the large number of people on this route, it remains e beautiful itinerary of the moutain ranges. To keep amazing memory, you will need some experience with crampons and some acclimatization for this ascent.
I can offer you several options to reach the summit in the best conditions.
Mont Blanc through the "3 Monts"
Duration : 2 days
Difficulty: PD+ (a little difficult +)
Cost : 990€
This is an alternative route in a high mountain atmosphere. The itinerary goes through the "Mont-Blanc du Tacul" then the "Mont Maudit" to finally reach the Mont-Blanc summit. Some passages are very steep and exposed, so sometimes, depending on the weather, we have to change the itinerary and get back to the usual route.
Training course for the Mont-Blanc (3/4/5 days)
Duration: 3/4/5 days
Cost : Depending on the duration
Definitely the best way to succeed the ascent of the Mont-Blanc. Depending on the duration we could have a day on the "Mer de Glace" (sea glacier) for training and learn how to walk with studded shoe, and a day trip before the final ascent to the Mont-Blanc. This training course provides a solid knowledge about mountain safety.
